EJAK BOTAHE

This song is about flurries, blowing snow and snow storms .. the beauty and the fury of the Canadian winter. Ejak Botahe means a gust of wind ….

This is one of the signature songs from my new album JAWO KON DEXOLOI .. translated this would mean “Which country are you off to?” .. a question I ask of the migrating Canada geese. This album is inspired by the spectacular natural beauty of Canada, but the lyrics are in Assamese and the music essentially Indian. I like to describe my work as “Canadian inspiration, Assamese expression”.

All the songs have been written, set to tune and sung by me. As a singer and songwriter your feedback is extremely important to me! Please let me know what you think of this song …
